The Kings XI Punjab find themselves in a position where they have minimal chances of making it to the top four after starting the season with five wins in six matches and having occupied the top spot in the points table. KXIP have won only one match in their last seven matches, and face Chennai Super Kings in the final league game which could be their last appearance of the season. They will need to win by a big margin to get over Rajasthan Royals’ NRR if Mumbai Indians fall short against Delhi Daredevils.

652KL Rahul’s aggregate of 652 runs in this IPL season is the most for a Kings XI Punjab player. He needs nine more runs to surpass Robin Uthappa’s tally of 660 runs in the IPL 2014 which are the most for a wicketkeeper in a Twenty20 series/tournament.


683 – Suresh Raina has scored 683 runs in the IPL against Kings XI Punjab thus far. Only Chris Gayle (797) and Gautam Gambhir (730) have more runs against KXIP in the IPL. CSK’s No.3 batsman averages 40.17 against KXIP with his only IPL century and two fifties.


3991MS Dhoni needs nine more runs to complete 4000 runs in the IPL. He will become the 6th Indian to reach the milestone. Dhoni became the 6th Indian to complete 6000 T20 runs during the game against DD.


3994 – Chris Gayle needs to score six more runs to complete 4000 runs in the IPL. He will be the 2nd overseas player after David Warner to accomplish 4000 IPL runs.


9973 – Ravindra Jadeja has scored 9973 runs in his professional career so far and needs 27 more runs to complete 10000 runs across all formats.
