IPL 2018: What a fan did for MS Dhoni will leave you in shock

MS Dhoni’s enigma, both as an individual and as a cricketer, has left everyone awestruck as his career has progressed. The charismatic personality has grabbed the headlines on many occasions owing to his antics on the cricket pitch. He has also been a recipient of a fair amount of flak from fans from the nook and corner of India. However, he hasn’t allowed them to mentally rattle him.

Rather, he has scripted comebacks on each and every occasion. At the age of 36, he may not be a livewire, but his zeal and hunger to succeed at the highest level hasn’t diminished by any stretch of the imagination. He has a plethora of records, both international and domestic, under his belt and is regarded as one of the legendary cricketers the country has ever produced.

The jaw-dropping support for MSD

The eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is currently taking place and Dhoni is the proud captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The franchise flourished under him for the first eight seasons and it has been no different this time around as well. Quite expectantly, he has a fan-base that most would envy and during this season, supporters of other franchises have also showered their love for Dhoni.

A couple of fans was seen donning the CSK jersey when Dhoni came out to bat in a couple of matches. Recently, another admirer expressed his love for him in a unique manner during the franchise’s last match against the Delhi Daredevils (DD) at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi.

He took a banner to the venue where mentioned that he missed a date with his girlfriend in order to see his mate- Dhoni. Later, the official Twitter handle of the Super Kings posted the picture of the fan.
