Mumbai Indians (MI) are facing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their fourth game of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) in front of their home crowd. They are the only team in this season not to win a game so far and would be hoping to get on the board on Tuesday. It would be hard for them though as even their opponents are also in search of a victory desperately. However, Pat Cummins has sent his wishes all the way from Australia to his team and hoped that they will win their upcoming game in the tournament.

Pat Cummins was bought by Mumbai franchise for a whopping amount of Rs 5.4 Crores in the mega-auction earlier this year. Unfortunately, the Aussie pacer sustained a back injury after the draining Test series against South Africa and the workload seems to have taken a toll on him. The cricketer was playing continuously for his country in Tests and ODIs ever since making a comeback in the series in India last February.

Cummins tweets

Pat Cummins, clearly, seems to be missing the T20 extravaganza in India and is rooting for his team Mumbai Indians from Australia. In his recent Twitter update, he wished all the luck to Rohit Sharma and his men and backed them to win the game against RCB. “Big good luck to @mipaltan tonight. Fingers crossed for a win in front of the home crowd at Wankhede, I’ll be cheering on from Aus! he tweeted.

Mumbai are generally known as the slow starters in the IPL as they’ve gone on to win the tournament previously from such positions. They are the most successful franchise in the history of the cash-rich league having won the coveted title thrice and are playing this season as the defending champions. Though it remains to be seen if they can break losing streak against RCB.
