Arguably, Ravindra Jadeja is the best all-rounder in the world right now. The stats might say something a bit different, but Jadeja has improved significantly over the years. He comes in way down the order in international cricket and makes sure that he smashes every bowler out of the park. In IPL, he has been promoted because of his batting ability and he takes just a couple of balls to set his tone.

During their match against RCB, CSK was struggling a bit during the middle overs. As Virat Kohli gave the ball to Harshal Patel, the current Purple Cap holder, Jadeja started to destroy his bowling figures. Harshal bowled poorly, and Jadeja was hitting the ball as sweetly as he could. That final over changed the momentum of the match as CSK managed to score 37 runs off that over. Jadeja had scored 63 runs from 28 balls with a strike rate of 221.43.

In the same match, he took three wickets while conceding just 13 runs and ran out Dan Christian, who had earlier dropped him. Against SRH, Jadeja scored 7 runs from six balls with a strike rate of 116.67. Adding on, he bowled with an economy rate of 7.67 to ensure that Warner had to struggle throughout his innings. In the third week, Jadeja picked wickets at an economy rate of 5.46 runs per over and scored 70 runs at a strike rate of approximately 169
