Axar Patel is experiencing the best time of his cricketing career. After a stellar performance during the home series against England, Axar has been a great addition to the Delhi Capitals squad. He has been batting lower down the order for Delhi. But, the strong batting lineup does ensure that he gets few chances.

With the ball, Axar picked 2 wickets against Kolkata. He gave away 32 runs from his four overs, which is a decent performance. Against RCB, he took a single wicket by giving away 33 runs. His best performance was against the Sunrisers. During that game, he picked 2 wickets for 26 runs.

Axar adds more stability to the Delhi batting lineup. In the third week, he bowled with an economy rate of 7.5 runs per over. This is a great effort in a format where the batsman tends to dominate the bowlers. Adding on, a wicket tally of 5 makes his effort a bit more special. He is the second all-rounder in the squad.
