Jalaj Saxena has been sort of a legend in the Indian domestic circles for the past few years. Each year, he has impressed everyone with his regular performances with both the bat and the ball. Even in the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament, he picked 10 wickets from five matches at an average of 11.90.

Saxena has been picked by IPL teams multiple times before. He was with the Mumbai Indians side in 2013 and 2014. In 2015, he was with the Royal Challengers Bangalore and lastly, he was picked by Delhi Capitals in 2019. Unfortunately, the all-rounder could never get to play in a single IPL match so far.

Ahead of the 2021 IPL auction, he has created a lot of news for being ignored by the Indian selectors for a long time even after regular performances in domestic cricket. He even has a good track record in T20s. He has taken 59 wickets in as many matches, with an economy of 6.84.
