The West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd marked his presence as one of the all-rounders in the SRH’s playing 11 for their first two fixtures. In the first league match against RR, he returned with 24 runs & 1/33 while he contributed with 8 & 2/42 against LSG in the subsequent fixture.

Although Shepherd’s performances have not been bad, a quality overseas all-rounder in form of Marco Jansen is warming the bench of the SRH team and can be given an opportunity in the team’s next league match against CSK.

Jansen featured in two IPL matches for Mumbai Indians (MI) in 2021 and took two wickets. He made his Test debut in January 2022 and so far picked a total of 28 wickets and scored 118 runs in five test matches. With fine current form, Tom Moody and co will certainly have a keen eye on him.
