IPL 2022: Best Indian XI after the first week
Week one of IPL 2022 ended with KKR defeating PBKS.
6. Dinesh Karthik – Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB bought Dinesh Karthik for INR 5.50 crores due to his several skills such as being a perfect finisher, an experienced Indian keeper, and the busiest player at the crease. DK played two crucial cameos against PBKS and KKR.
In the first game against PBKS, RCB was batting first and DK came in to bat at number four. He played an awesome innings of 32 unbeaten runs off just 14 balls which contained three beautiful fours and three lightning sixes at a strike rate of 228.57 in order to put a strong enough total.
However, in the second match against KKR, DK came in to bat at number seven while chasing. He delivered very well and finished the game as a perfect finisher with 14 runs off just seven balls with one four and one huge six in the end.
