Former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli started IPL 2022 as a player for the first time since 2012. In his first outing against the Punjab Kings, Kohli played a brilliant knock of 41* off 29 balls and looked in delightful touch.
Since then, Kohli has been out of runs as Royal Challengers Bangalore’s top-order collapsed in the last couple of games. The 33-year-old talismanic run-scorer scored 15 in the next game against Kolkata Knight Riders. He was quite unfortunate to get run-out on a score of just 5 against Rajasthan Royals.
Although Dinesh Karthik‘s rich form has saved RCB a couple of times this season, the management will hope their star player to knock off runs from the next game.
