West Indian allrounder Kieron Pollard was in his beast form during a group stage match between MI and CSK in IPL 2021. Chasing a target of 218 runs, MI were 81/3 and struggling. However, Pollard had some other ideas as he went berserk against the CSK bowlers. The hard-hitter did not even spare the left-arm spinner Jadeja, who had just given nine runs in his first two overs, and took a vital wicket of Suryakumar Yadav.

Pollard took the liking of Jadeja and smashed him for 20 runs in an over while hitting three huge sixes. As a result, the over tilted the momentum of the match towards the five-time IPL champions. MI eventually went on to win the match off the last ball of the game.

Apart from that beating, Jadeja was quite economical throughout the IPL 2021 as he bowled with an economy of 7.06 and scalped 13 wickets in his 16 matches. The left-handed batter also scored a total of 227 runs with the bat. On the other hand, Pollard also made his bat talk. The right-handed batter scored 245 runs with an average of 30.62.
