It is a well-renowned fact that IPL is an amalgamation of the best in cricket and Bollywood. Celebrated personalities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shilpa Shetty and Juhi Chawla have all been involved in the cash-rich league.

Preity Zinta has been associated with the Kings XI Punjab franchise for a number of years now, since its inception. The Baadshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla are the co-owners of the Kolkata Knight Riders set-up. It was a common sight for every edition of the IPL to see Shilpa Shetty waving the flag of Rajasthan Royals before they were banned for taking part in the competition two years back.

During the early years of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Katrina Kaif was also involved in their promotional campaign. People would have noticed her presence during various matches in the first three years of the IPL with the likes of Vijay Mallya and Siddharth Mallya, being the brand ambassador of the Royal Challengers Bangalore along with Deepika Padukone.

In a recent interview, Katrina Kaif finally revealed her favourite cricketer and it is none other than the Great Wall of Indian cricket, Rahul Dravid. She further claimed that the former captain of Indian Cricket team has kept his calm demeanour on and off the field and is truly a gentleman. Citing his shy nature, Kat disclosed that she has not spoken much to the legendary batsman.

“I like Rahul Dravid, who I believe is a true gentleman… He never seems to get upset, angry or hyper and having said that I have never spoken more than three words with him. He is very shy” said the Bollywood Diva.

Rahul Dravid was once the captain of the Royal Challengers side until he was unceremoniously sacked from the position along with Charu Sharma, who was the coach of the side during the inaugural season of the IPL. Dravid was later bought back by the Rajasthan Royal and after a brief stint there as a coach, he is finally coaching the Delhi Daredevils now.
