The second Test match between South Africa and Australia got the best out of Kagiso Rabada who literally bamboozled the visitors on his own. He scalped 11 wickets in the game and was also awarded Man of the Match for his efforts as the hosts levelled the series. But they suffered a huge setback soon after the game as he was suspended by ICC for the remainder of the series owing to his on-field behaviour. However, the former England batsman Kevin Pietersen now has reacted over his suspension.

Recently, even the former Proteas cricketer Paul Harris had taken a dig over the world cricketing body for being too strict on Rabada over his actions. The youngster was charged with level 2 offence and handed over three demerit points for brushing his shoulder with the Australian skipper Steve Smith while celebrating the fall of his wicket on the first day of Port Elizabeth Test. He was also charged with level 1 offence for his aggressively celebrating the wicket of David Warner on the third day.

Pietersen miffed over ICC

Kevin Pietersen was not at all happy after he came to know about the news of Kagiso Rabada being suspended for the remaining two matches of the series. He took to Twitter to express his disappointment over the matter and cleared that he was happy not playing Test cricket now if someone is getting banned for giving a few send-offs to the opposition players.

“I’m pretty happy not to be playing Test cricket when you scream a couple times with passion, give a few sends off & then get banned! My baptism into Test cricket in 2005 was a WHOLE lot worse! And, that’s what made it fun, competitive & separated men from boys!” Pietersen tweeted.

Meanwhile, Rabada himself has agreed that he needs to relook at his behaviour on the field and he is letting himself and his team down with his actions constantly.
