Sir Richard Hadlee took his fifth 5- wicket haul in his 106th innings.
Sir Richard Hadlee has been considered as one the greatest swing bowlers of all time and the greatest bowler to play for New Zealand. He took 431 wickets in 86 test matches and was the first to take 400 wickets in Test matches. Hadlee was also a capable batsman and was considered as one of the four great all-rounders to play in the 1970s,1980s along with India’s Kapil Dev, Pakistan’s Imran Khan and England’s Ian Botham, whose record for most wickets he broke by taking his 374th wicket.
