List of bowlers who took least innings to take five 5-wicket hauls in ODIs
2. 35- Mitchell Starc (Australia)
Mitchell Starc took his fifth 5 wicket haul in his 35th innings against New Zealand in the 2015 World Cup match.
He took 6/28 but could not take Australia to the win, as New Zealand snuck through with 1 wicket in hand. Starc swings the ball in at great pace of over 145 kmph in the air, making it difficult for the batsmen to read the swing until it’s too late. Mitchell Starc almost won the match for Australia when he took 3 quick wickets in the end including Ronchi and Southee. Being a left armer, it helps him to bring the ball in and trouble the batsmen by making it go away occasionally.
