The 40-year-old hit three fours and a six after coming into bat at number seven and proved again that age is just a number. Needing 17 off the last over, CSK did not have the best of starts losing Dwaine Pretorius off the very first delivery. Bravo took a single off the second delivery and left Dhoni with 16 to get off the last four deliveries. The veteran batter hit a six and a four off the next two deliveries to bring down the equation to 6 needed off 2 deliveries. He took a quick two off the fifth delivery and finally, Dhoni finished off in style with a four off the last delivery to win the game for his side by three wickets in the end. Skipper Ravindra Jadeja who could not get going with the bat today bowed down to Dhoni for his unbelievable finishing skills and it was a moment to cherish for all the Chennai Super Kings fans who have been desperate to see their side do well.
