Mohammad Amir's spell at Brisbane has Ravi Ashwin lost for words

From his twitter account, one can certainly attest that Ravi Ashwin is certainly not one of those people who gets either spellbound or lost for words. In fact, he is quite the opposite, meaning that he simply has a reply for everything possible.

However, there was the simple case of Mohammad Amir has been in tremendous form since his comeback from hs five-year ban. This has also seen him taking the world by storm in the limited-overs’ scene, something he has reveled in recent times. In spite of losing some of the fire from his belly in recent times, Amir was well and truly back to his best when it came to bowling against the Aussies at the GABBA in the first ODI.

Amir’s first spell saw him rip straight through the Australian batting unit as even the established likes of David Warner and Steve Smith seemingly had no answer to his onslaught. This spell took the note of Ravi Ashwin who was watching the series from the comfort of his room wherein he was clearly spellbound by the way Amir bowled.

As far as Ashwin is concerned, he needs to take note of the way the Aussies are playing at the moment as they pose a great threat to the Indians when they make their way out to the subcontinent later this year.
