India didn’t turn up at all in the first T20 International of the three-match series in Wellington on Wednesday. They suffered their biggest defeat in terms of runs in the format and will be keen on making a comeback in the series which they’ve mastered in the last few months. The team combination was messed up a bit in the series opener and with this being the must-win game to keep New Zealand at bay, the visitors might play their strongest XI.

The Kiwis couldn’t have asked for a better outing against a team like India. First, they posted a mammoth total and then were clinical with the ball as well denying any freebies to the opposition batsmen. Every match is crucial for both the teams in the lead up to the World Cup and despite being victorious, the Black Caps are likely to make changes to the team.
