Yuvraj Singh appeared in his landmark 300th ODI in the first semi-final in ICC Champions Trophy on 15th June. Wishes were poured in for the veteran left-hander from all the parts of the cricketing world for his great achievement. Yuvraj Singh has been the vital cog in the Indian batting line-up and has been serving Indian cricket for over 15 years now.

He has witnessed plenty of ups and downs in his life and also in his career but the southpaw has always come up on top fighting against all the odds. Everyone is aware of the mutual trust and respect Yuvraj and the legendary Sachin Tendulkar have for each other. Sachin wished his companion a day late but his wishes on Instagram are very emotional which has proved once again the kind of geniality they share with each other.

Sachin’s message for Yuvraj

The owner of 100 international centuries posted a photograph with Yuvraj Singh with a message as, “If there’s one word that personifies @yuvisoffical, it’s resilience and he embodies this spirit like nobody else. His return to the team after numerous challenges is legendary, still makes me feel emotional about the many hurdles he has faced to get to the 300th match of his life. His career has been replete with ups and downs, but Yuvi has always addressed each stage of his life with his signature ‘never say die attitude’ and complete poise. I am sure he will bring more laurels to India with his abilities to take the game away from the opposition.”

This message from the little master is surely going to make Yuvraj and his fans emotional. Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj have always been very close to each other and now everyone will be awaiting the response of the Punjab batsman.

Yuvraj Singh’s 300th ODI proved to be a memorable one for Team India as the Men in Blue thrashed Bangladesh by 9 wickets in the second semifinal of ICC Champions Trophy. India will face their arch-rivals Pakistan in the final and Yuvraj would like to celebrate his landmark by playing another match-winning innings which he played earlier in the tournament against the same opposition.
