Ahead of the highly anticipated clash between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), RR's star player Jos Buttler, and his teammate Trent Boult engaged in a fun Q&A session. Both the cricketers revealed some interesting insights about their personal preferences and cricketing favourites.

RR, currently at the top of the IPL 2024 table with four wins and one loss, will be looking to bounce back from their recent defeat against Gujarat Titans (GT).

In the lively Q&A session posted by the franchise on social media, Buttler revealed that if a biopic on his life were to be made, he would love to see Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan play his character. The stumper-batter also shared his fondness for the popular American sitcom “F.R.I.E.N.D.S.”, stating that it would be the one show he could binge-watch for life.

Trent Boult dismissing Jos Buttler was the last thing I searched on phone: Boult

On being asked about the last thing he searched on his phone, Buttler's teammate and Kiwi pacer, Trent Boult, hilariously revealed that the last thing he searched on his phone was “Trent Boult dismissing Jos Buttler.” Boult also spoke about his favourite Indian player, KL Rahul of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and his choice for the best new-ball bowler, veteran Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

When asked about the best cover drive in cricket, Buttler confidently stated that Virat Kohli's cover drive is the best he has seen. “I would say Virat Kohli.” Boult, on the other hand, revealed that his favourite IPL dismissal was that of Virat Kohli, which was his 100th wicket in the tournament.

On being asked about a batter from the past he would like to dismiss, Boult said, “I would like to get a piece of Kevin Pietersen (former England batter).”

Interestingly, Boult also disclosed that if he were not a cricketer, he would have chosen to be a postman. Meanwhile, Buttler expressed his admiration for his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal's aggressive “JaisBall” style of cricket, even though it resulted in Jaiswal scoring heavily against England in the recent Test series.

“It was sad to see him score so many runs (in the series against England). But as a Royals player, it was impressive,” said Buttler.
