Rajasthan Royals (RR) were soaring high in the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) but Gujarat Titans (GT) halted their momentum in the last game. Sanju Samson and Co. suffered a heartbreaking defeat by three wickets in a last-ball thriller - their first of the season. However, they still top the points table with four wins and look like a strong contender for the title.

RR's next match is against Punjab Kings (PBKS), who are currently eighth in the points table. The inaugural champions will aim to get back on track when they clash at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh on April 13. But the home team has put up some serious fights with the bat in their last two matches – winning one of them - and RR will be aware of the threat.

Both teams have been part of the league since its inception in 2008 and have shared some intense rivalry since then. They faced each other in 26 matches, with Royals winning 15 matches compared to PBKS's 11. The two met twice last year and shared a win each.

Let’s take a look at RR IPL Stats and Records against PBKS:

Total Matches Played 26
Rajasthan Royals Won 15
Punjab Kings Won 11
