Delhi Capitals (DC) put up a commanding total of 203 runs in their allotted 20 overs against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. GT skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to field first, but the DC batters delivered a strong collective performance.

Unlike depending on a single player, DC's innings was marked by even contributions across the lineup. Karun Nair scored a brisk 31 off 18 balls, KL Rahul added 28 off just 14 deliveries, Tristan Stubbs chipped in with 31 off 21, and Axar Patel anchored the middle overs with a steady 39 off 32. In the latter stages, youngster Ashutosh Sharma provided the finishing flourish with a quickfire 37 off 19 balls, propelling DC to a formidable total of 203 for 8.

In the bowling department for Gujarat Titans, Prasidh Krishna stood out with an impressive four-wicket haul, finishing with figures of 4/41 in his quota. GT’s batting unit will now look to respond with full intent in front of their home crowd, aiming to chase down the target and secure a crucial win.

Delhi Capitals currently sit at the top of the points table, while Gujarat Titans occupy the third spot. With both teams aiming for a place in the playoffs, a win here could be vital in strengthening their position.
