In the 8th over of the Gujarat Titans' innings, the legendary former captain showcased his evergreen brilliance behind the stumps, plucking a sensational catch that left his former teammate Suresh Raina in awe.

The clash between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans was a high-stakes encounter. GT all-rounder Vijay Shankar, batting on 12, attempted a drive off Daryl Mitchell's delivery. The ball took the outside edge, and that's when Dhoni's reflexes kicked in.

With lightning-fast reactions, Dhoni dived to his right, extending his arms to his fullest reach. The ball seemed destined to race past him, but the legendary keeper held on to complete a stunner of a catch, leaving the crowd in awe.

In the first match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Dhoni showed another piece of brilliance behind the stumps with a breathtaking run-out, reminding his fans of his early days. While he's yet to face a single ball in the new season, his presence is felt with every catch, every run-out, and every word of wisdom shared with his teammates.

As the match progressed, Chennai Super Kings emerged victorious by 63 runs, Shivam Dube was awarded the Player of the Match award for his brilliant fifty. CSK find themselves at the top of the table after registering two back-to-back wins.
