Harris, the Brisbane Heat opener, served as a striking testament to her abilities, delivering the most exceptional individual performance in Women's Big Bash League history. Her resounding unbeaten 136 off just 59 balls, after being omitted from the recent T20I series, took the Heat to a formidable 7-229 at North Sydney Oval on Sunday in a timely demonstration of her prowess, leaving national selectors with much to ponder.

The Brisbane Heat's total of 229 stood as the second-highest in WBBL history. The right handed batter's extraordinary innings featured an impressive 12 fours and a record-breaking 11 sixes, taking her only 48 deliveries to reach a century. This marked her third WBBL century, making her just the third player to achieve this milestone, joining the elite ranks of Alyssa Healy and Sophie Devine, both hailing from the Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers respectively.
