Sourav Ganguly grooves on Bollywood songs on 50th birthday in London

Former Indian captain and current BCCI president Sourav Ganguly celebrated his 50th birthday on July 8 with friends and family in the UK. A video of the former cricketer grooving to a popular Bollywood song has gone viral on social media.

Ganguly, who was pictured celebrating his birthday with Sachin Tendulkar, Rajeev Shukla, and Jay Shah a day ago, was seen shaking a leg to the tunes of ‘Om Shanti om’. The event occurred when the former cricketer took to the streets along with his family to celebrate his life half-century near London Eye.

While the Prince of Kolkata enjoyed himself with his loved ones, his daughter Sana was pictured away from the crowd. The 50-year-old dragged his daughter to make her a part of the festivities, but after a few small moves of her own, she ran away, stating that she will be the DJ.

‘These are the moments of friendship that stand out and make me smile’ – Sachin recalls playing a prank on Ganguly

One of the greatest opening batters of all time, the southpaw was often described as the ‘God of offside’ in his playing days due to his prolific shots square of the boundary. He shares a wonderful friendship with former teammate and batting great Sachin Tendulkar, who opened up about their friendship and revealed a prank he carried out on the former Indian captain, along with a couple of teammates. They flooded his room with buckets of water when he was fast asleep.
