Bangladesh Premier League 2025-26 Schedule
The coveted Bangladesh Premier League’s (BPL 2024-25) 11th edition will commence from December 27, 2024, and it will conclude on February 7, 2025. Notably, the league comprises of seven teams who will battle for the T20 glory. There will be 46 matches in all to be played this season.
When it comes to the format of the event, it will be played under a double round-robin pattern followed by playoff games. Besides, the BPL 2024-25 will be played across three venues named- Chattogram, Dhaka and Sylet, respectively. This year, franchise Fortune Barishal will take the field as the defending champions. For Barishal, Tamim Iqbal, the veteran stalwart has been an exciting addition to the franchise this season. While Comilla Victorians finished as the runner ups of the competition in the BPL 2023 season.
Moving on, speaking of some new changes in the BPL, two teams viz- Chittagong Kings and Dhaka Capitals have been rebranded.
