The SRH army had bagged Sandeep Sharma in IPL 2018 and so far he has emerged out to be a very promising pacer. By often playing the second fiddle to the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar or T Natarajan, the seamer has in total scalped 39 wickets from his 39 games at an overall economy of 8.3. More importantly, by raising his stocks in comparison to the other SRH Indian pacers (Siddarth Kaul and Khaleel Ahmed), Sandeep has certainly transpired from a reserve bowler to a steadfast seamer in the SRH camp.

However, regardless of being such an unwavering proposition, unfortunately, he will have to endure a cease after the 2021 season. The likes of Bhuveshwar Kumar and T Natarajan do certainly look to be the other two potential retainers as specifically skipper Williamson and Rashid Khan will bag the prime retention seats. Perhaps even with regards to using an RTM card, the management will either then make a repurchase of David Warner or Jonny Bairstow.

Hence, with the SRH franchise being a team that’s already brimmed with stalwarts, unfortunately, most of its strong local players like Sandeep Sharma will eventually face a discard after IPL 2021.
