3. Jasprit Bumrah – 39 wickets

Jasprit Bumrah was the standout bowler for the Men in Blue throughout the year as he took 39 wickets in ODIs. He took the wicket of Fakhar Zaman which was later ruled to be a no ball, a moment which proved to be the turning point of the Champions Trophy final.

Bumrah proved that he has a mature head on his shoulders as he put the scar behind him and developed his skills right through the year. He is known for his ability to bowl brilliant yorkers in the death yorkers. He ability to bowl yorkers consistently has won him many plaudits. Very early in his career, the 24-year-old has become Virat Kohli’s trump card in the pressure situations.
