Former Indian international Virender Sehwag is an active and familiar personality on Twitter. The destructive batsman never fails to entertain his fans on the social media platform just as he did during his days as a cricketer. From giving us a dose of laughter to taking a stand on a political issue, Virender Sehwag has done it all. Another thing that the Delhi-born star does religiously is wishing celebrities on their birthdays in his own humorous style.

The Nawab of Najafgarh gave us another example of the same when he wished the legendary Kishore Kumar on his birth anniversary. Kishore Kumar who was undoubtedly one of the greatest playback singers to grace the Indian cinema was also a music composer and an actor. 4th of August 2017 marks his 88th birth anniversary, and Virender Sehwag wasted no time in coming up with a tweet in honour of the icon.

In his tweet, Sehwag wished Kishore Kumar, a man whom he calls his secret batting partner. Wishing him a very Happy Birthday, Sehwag quoted a popular song of his which goes by the name of  ‘Chala Jaata Hoon’. Sehwag had mentioned previously on many occasions that how Kishore Kumar songs came to his rescue during his playing days. The batsman stated that he used to sing Kumar’s songs while batting which helped him calm down and face the fiercest of bowlers.

Virender Sehwag is known to be a huge fan of Kishore Kumar, who passed away on 13th October 1987. The power hitter is considered as one of India’s finest openers ever and is the only Indian to score two triple centuries in Test cricket. His highest score of 219 runs in One Day Internationals is the third highest score ever in the 50 over format.
