VVS Laxman has been quite busy on social media these days and likes to interact with the fans on Twitter. He has also been analysing the ongoing Test series betwen India and England and has been pretty vocal about his opinions as well. He was very critical about Shikhar Dhawan being dropped at Lord’s and expressed his disappointment clearly. However, on Friday, he was involved in a funny Twitter conversation with Kumar Sangakkara and Aakash Chopra.

Laxman, on his official Twitter handle, has started a norm with the #AskLaxman and urges his fans to ask him questions related to the game he most loved. He did the same on Friday and was busy anwering the questions of his fans when the former cricketers Sangakkara and Chopra decided to have a cheeky go at him with different kind of questions.

Aakash Chopra who himself is very much active on Twitter, asked him a tricky question which was not at all related to cricket. “Have you ever met someone who’s not good, very good or very very good? #AskLaxman,” he asked. Laxman was also prompt to answer him and came up with a decent response much like he did during his playing days to the bowlers and said, “Accepting a person the way he is, is the best that we can do to him. The same goes for my friend, Aakash Gameplan Chopra.”

What did Sanga ask?

VVS Laxman has been working with Muttiah Muralitharan in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the support staff for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise over the years. Sangakkara was hilariously concerned about his hearing after sitting next to Murali who is constantly talking.”@VVSLaxman281 saw that you’re answering a lot of questions. How is your hearing after sitting next to Murali for a few seasons and having him talk nonstop to you?” he asked.

The former Indian cricketer, however, praised one of the best off-spinners in the world and responded that he’s been enjoying working with the legendary cricketer all these years. “Hearing is thankfully intact, you should know how it feels much more 🙂 But, it’s a wonderful experience working with him,” he replied.

Here’s the thread of the convo:
