Watch: Shoaib Akhtar reveals his friendship with Virender Sehwag

Not sure how much the Cricket All Stars League globalized the Cricket sport but the league has brought a friendship bond between two rivals.

The video uploaded by the Indian batsman, Virender Sehwag on his official Facebook page is the proof for the statement, which shows Sehwag sharing his seat on the team bus with Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar and the Pakistani saying that Sehwag is his new friend.

As Sehwag and Akhtar ended up drafted to Sachin Blasters’ team, the duo has been making the best of the opportunity to build a friendship with each other. In the video uploaded by Sehwag, Akhtar who is seen speaking in Hindi, talks about his newly found friendship with the dashing Indian batsman.

“Hello, it’s me, Shoaib Akhtar. Look how wonderful the world is. Someone who was a big enemy in the past to me is one of my closest friends currently. Guess who?”, said Akhtar, before he moved the camera to reveal it was Sehwag.

Shoaib Akhtar was often considered as a fast bowler who had battles with the Indian team. His most popular battle was fought against Virender Sehwag which was visible every time they faced each other.
