Gujarat Lions and the Caribbean all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has said in a rapid fire round of questions that the franchise skipper Suresh Raina will hit the most number of sixes in this season of the IPL.
The Gujarat Lions franchise shared a video of the West Indian cricketer where he is seen answering a few questions and also speaks about why Gujarat Lions will be the team to watch this season. Bravo predicted success for his franchise as he believes that unity is their key.
Bravo quoted “We are a good unit and family. That is what keeps us going. This year it will be Suresh Raina who will hit the most number of sixes.”
Bravo, is ruled out of the initial stages of the cash-rich league to a hamstring injury which he picked up during the Big Bash League in Australia last year. He has not yet fully recovered from his injury and had undergone a surgery last month.
Bravo is an extremely important player for the Gujarat Lions and they definitely missed the services of the player in the first match against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Bravo’s bowling could have been an important factor for the Lions as they failed to pick up even a single wicket in the game.
Bravo is extremely handy with the bat also as he has the capability to hit the big shots every now and then. The Gujarat Lions, having lost the first game would now hope that Bravo gets fit as soon as possible as he is a class all-rounder.
Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina also admitted the fact that they missed the services of the West Indian as the Kolkata Knight riders recorded a 10 wicket win over them. The Lions will be playing their upcoming game against SRH.
