India Women and England Women are set to lock horns in the first of the three T20Is at the County Ground in Northampton. The hosts won the ODI series 2-1, but the Women in Blue salvaged some pride after winning the last game.

Sophie Ecclestone has been a revelation in T20 cricket and the Indian batters can’t show any complacency against her. One of Davies and Farrant should get into the eleven.

With a change in format, she would be looking for a change in fortunes. In the bowling department, Shikha Pandey and Pandey should be the fast bowlers. The spinners are likely to be Radha and Poonam, who both are handy with the ball in hand.
