Iyer is another rising star in the Indian national team who has proved his class by flaunting both fitness and skills. Apart from being a prolific batsman, he is a quick man on the field too.

He has been doing quite a good job for India in the limited-overs format and his ODI average is impressive 44.83. He has been leading the Delhi side since 2018 as Gautam Gambhir announced him the new skipper of Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals).

Back in 2018, he became the youngest captain ever to lead an IPL franchise. The magic of his captaincy unfolded in the 2020 season of the Indian T20 league where DC reached the finals for the first time in history. He can definitely be another great contender for leading India in the future.
