5 Cricketers who played the game while continuing education
There are some athletes who gave education an equal amount of importance like their career in sports.
5. Prithvi Shaw
Prithvi Shaw made a name for himself when he led the India U19 team to a world cup win in 2018. The Mumbai batsman then went on play the IPL and make his international debut as well. His record in first-class cricket has been so brilliant that the selectors had included the youngster into the Test side.
But as he was representing and leading the Indian U19 team, Shaw had to miss his class 12th board examinations. In an interview, he had said that he would appear for the exams in the next year. He did as he planned and later joined a college as well.
Later in 2018, he made his Test debut and scored a magnificent century in that match against West Indies. At 20, he has already played enough first-class cricket and seems quite ready for standing tall at the international level
