The 2007 Test series between India and Pakistan produced some outstanding cricket and that will be remembered for quite a long time to come. It was high-voltage action and both teams were throwing everything, kitchen sink included. When cricket is being played at such an environment, some verbal exchanges are inevitable.

The match here we are talking about was played between India vs Pakistan 2nd Test of 3-match series at Kolkata. The pitch was pretty frustrating for the bowlers as the batsmen were easily scoring runs even on the fourth day. An angry Akhtar, for some unknown reason, abused his teammate Yasir Hameed while returning to his bowling mark.

The words were clearly caught on the stump mic and Hameed was clearly unhappy with the fast bowler venting out the frustration that way. Younis Khan, the vice-captain of the side, had to intervene and although he was all smiles, Hameed wasn’t very happy with the way things panned out.
