Bangladesh agonisingly lost the final of the 2018 Asia Cup to India by three wickets after the match went right down to the last ball. The Tigers could only manage 222 after a 120-run opening stand between Liton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Liton went on to score his maiden ODI century off only 87 deliveries.

But his dismissal on 121 off chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav was a controversial one. The third umpire reckoned that Liton’s right foot was on the line when MS Dhoni took the bails off in a flash.

After he got out, Bangladesh scored 34 runs in the last 45 balls. Following the defeat, the Bangladesh fans went all out in protest. They hacked the website of Virat Kohli, who wasn’t even a part of the Asia Cup. The fans also asked the ICC to make an apology and threatened to hack more accounts.
