At day 3 Lunch, Indian skipper Virat Kohli walked off the ground, ruffling his hair and raising his bat to all corners of SuperSport Park, Centurion after shepherding the Indian innings and scoring almost run a ball. While Virat Kohli registered another fabulous hundred, he was let down by his overnight counterpart Hardik Pandya, whose laziness cost him his wicket. However, Virat Kohli found an ally in Ravichandran Ashwin, who contributed for the team with both bat and ball.

Both Virat and Ashwin strung together a stand and defied the South African attack that had the new red cherry in their hands. After scoring 38 runs Ashwin departed edging one to the slip and the tail was out in the middle. Soon after, India lost their first tailender in the form of Mohammed Shami, who had no answers whatsoever to Morne Morkel’s rabid, searing and scorching spell with the new ball.

Delhi mates at it together

After losing two wickets in quick succession, the Indian team is currently eight down for a score of 306 and still trail by 29 runs. With Virat still at the crease, batting on 152 with his inner reservoir and full fortitude, we can expect him to be more aggressive post session. However, with cricket happening with full flow between two top Test nations, the official broadcasters, have been giving the fans quite an insight into what’s happening as the stump microphones are at full pelt.

Virat after his infamous comment last night was once again caught having a confabulation with his partner. He was heard asking Ishant whether he will be able to play two deliveries from Morne Morkel (Tu 2 ball khelega isski).

Ishant seemed to be really confident and instantly replied, “that he is ready to play” (Haan Khel Lunga). To be certain, Kohli once again asked him, “Are you sure?“. Ishant in reply said, “yes“. Understanding his confidence, Kohli couldn’t resist himself and said, “Shabash Lambe“.
