The Indian fast bowler Jhulan Goswami, a legend of her trade was also a part of the show and enjoyed all the thrills on the night. Jhulan believes that bowling on the cricket field is rather easier than sitting on a hot seat.

The members of the team, Smriti Mandhana, Arjuna award winner Harmanpreet Kaur, Deepti Sharma, skipper Mithali Raj, Punam Raut and Veda Krishnamurthy were also present along with Jhulan. The coach Tushar Arothe graced his presence as a special guest. They earned a handsome amount of Rs 6,40,000 on the show which was donated to the organisation called Prayas in Hyderabad.

Amitabh Bachchan has been my hero

In an interview to Kashmir Times, Goswami explained her experience of meeting the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and said everyone was nervous before appearing on the show. But the actor made them very comfortable by welcoming and congratulating them for the spirited show in England.

“It was a wonderful and different kind of experience and can’t be described in words. Never ever in my life, I had thought of sitting in front of him. From my childhood, he has been my hero. We have seen Amitabh Bachchan on a silver screen and saw most of his super-hit films. We all were nervous initially but he made us comfortable afterwards. At one point of time I really believed that sitting on this hot seat was rather more difficult than bowling fast on the field,” she added.

Players had a great time on the show and revealed some of the dressing room secrets candidly. The host also surprised the opener Smriti by calling up her favourite singer Arijit Singh who sung her favourite song ‘Channa Mereya’ for her over the phone. Even the skipper Mithali Raj recalled her childhood memories saying that she was very lazy in her school days.
