The Chennai Super Kings have always remained as one of the heavyweights of the Indian Premier League. Be in on the field or off the field, the team has never failed to entertain the fans. Dhoni’s calmness and Bravo’s dance seem to gel well among the CSK supporters. The IPL is not only about on-field performances. The off the field work by the management ensures a positive financial outlook for the franchise.

One of the major tasks of the management is to find sponsors for their side. Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd’s menswear brand, Peter England, has announced its partnership with Chennai Super Kings, the two-time Indian Premier League champions who have made a winning return to action following a two-year suspension.

Styling players and Cheerleaders

As a style partner, the brand will work towards styling the CSK players and also be the official cheerleading partner of ‘Whistle Podu Machans’, giving the cheerleaders an exciting new avatar this year. The partnership will bring cool merchandises and accessories associated with CSK which will be available at Peter England stores.

“We are happy to associate once again this year with Chennai Super Kings to celebrate the spirit of cricket and take the brand closer to a larger audience. Our new range reflects the ethos of this partnership and is a celebration of the sport. Besides this, Peter England’s revamped wardrobe for the youth offers an array of fashionable and innovative options ranging from comfortable office wear to a wide range of casual wear”. Manish Singhai, COO of Peter England was quoted as saying by insidesport.co.

The Super Kings have made a great return to the IPL having won the first two games in enthralling fashion. The MS Dhoni-led side will meet Kings XI Punjab on April 15 in Mohali. The team will miss the services of Suresh Raina as he is suffering from a calf injury. They have already lost Kedhar Jadhav and Mitchell Santner for the full season while Murali Vijay and Faf Du Plessis are returning to full fitness.
