With over 17.3 million followers on Instagram, Gill enjoys a massive fanbase that actively engages with his posts, making him one of the most followed young cricketers globally. He first made headlines during the 2018 ICC U-19 World Cup, where his match-winning knocks made him a household name. 

Since then, he has risen through the ranks, becoming a regular member of the Indian team and, recently, the captain of the Test team. His appointment as the vice-captain of the Asia Cup squad has further strengthened his popularity.
