IPL Head to Head Records

The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League is about to get underway on March 31 as Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings will lock horns in the curtain raiser at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The upcoming edition of the T20 extravaganza is expected to be a grand affair as the tournament will return to the ‘home and away’ format for the first time since 2019.

In the 15-year-long history of the tournament, several teams have had the upper hand over others in the IPL All-time records. While the second most successful franchise of the tournament Chennai Super Kings have a great record against almost all of the teams, they haven’t had many memorable outings against Mumbai Indians who have an upper hand over them.

On the other hand, the five-time champions Mumbai have had neck-to-neck battles with Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans with a 50% win percentage against all the three sides. They were dominated by Lucknow Super Giants in the 2022 season and lost both of their matches against them.
Apart from the top two teams, there have been several other mouth-watering head-to-head battles between several other teams in IPL history. Find all about it and other IPL stats below:
