Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) met only once in the league phase of IPL 2023 at Jaipur where the Super Giants emerged victorious.
Lucknow Super Giants finished third in their maiden IPL season with nine wins and five losses in 14 games played. They lost against RCB in the eliminator and were knocked out of the race last year. They would look to continue the same momentum this time.
Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, also enjoyed the last season as they ended as the finalists bowing down to finalists Gujarat Titans. Jos Buttler won the Orange Cap for scoring 863 runs and Yuzvendra Chahal won the purple cap with 27 wickets, just edging past Wanindu Hasaranga’s tally of 26.
