CSK vs LSG Head-to-Head Record in IPL History

The four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will lock horns with the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the match number 6 of the Indian Premier League 2023 on April 3, 2023, at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Lucknow Super Giants, had a good debut season to remember, as they won nine out fourteen games and were placed third on the table despite sharing equal number of wins with Rajasthan Royals, due to a lesser net run-rate.

They failed to go past the Eliminator as they lost to RCB by a close margin of 14 runs. KL Rahul enjoyed the last season, being the second leading run-getter in the tournament. He along with Quinton de Kock registered world-record 210 runs partnership for the first-wicket in the match number 66 against KKR in IPL 2022.

Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, would be looking the erase the rare bad season, they went through last year. The Dhoni-led Chennai have added Ben Stokes to the team in this edition and the return of Deepak Chahar will see them have a good balance between bat and ball. There are a lot of international all-rounders and game changers in the CSK camp and they would look to bounce back  to the winning ways.
