Stuart Broad is one of the best pacers that England cricket has produced. He has made the ball talk and ripped through batting line-ups. The right-arm pacer has featured in 159 matches in the longest format of the game and bagged a staggering tally of 566 wickets at an average of 27.77.

Broad made his Test debut in December 2007 and it has been over 15 years since then but he is still the mainstay of the England bowling line-up. The veteran pacer was magnificent in 2022 and wreaked havoc with the ball. He picked up 40 wickets in nine games at an average of 25.75.

Broad is known to breathe fire in the swing-friendly conditions of England and the onus will be on him to deliver the goods with the ball in The Ashes 2023. However, aged 36, the Nottingham-born is at the twilight of his career and the Test series against Australia could be the last time he dons the national colours.
