2. Nehal Wadhera
In the last season, Nehal Wadhera made an impressive debut for MI, scoring 241 runs in 14 games at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 145.18. Along with Tilak Varma, he also displayed his excellence and won the confidence of the team.
This year, he will look to deliver better numbers with his bat. In the 2023-24 Syed Mushtaq Trophy (SMAT), the left-handed batter looked confident for Punjab. Showing up in seven games, he hit 175 runs in six innings at an average of 58.33 and a strike rate of 162.03. Noting his power-hitting potential, MI might provide him the task to bat in the lower-middle-order with Tim David and deliver match-concluding knocks to the side.
