5. New Zealand (Batters- James Neesham, Glenn Phillips, Martin Guptill; Bowler-Lockie Ferguson) - 8/10

James Neesham has been a proven performer for New Zealand in the white-ball circuit. Talking about the T20Is, he has scored 612 runs in 50 games at a sensational strike rate of 164.51. The Blackcaps entrusted him to deliver the job in the Super Over 2019 World Cup Final where he almost won the game scoring 13 runs off 5 balls and eyes will again be on the ace all-rounder in the T20 extravaganza in Australia.

Martin Guptill and Glenn Phillips can be the other batters to partner Neesham in the super over. Guptill has been a legend in white-ball cricket and has struck the second-most number of sixes in T20Is with 172 maximums in 121 games. Phillips, on the other hand, has made a name for himself for his swashbuckling strokeplay. The 25-year-old has smashed 1005 runs in 46 T20Is at a strike rate of 142.35 and will be a good option in the one-over shootout.

Given Trent Boult and Tim Southee have not been able to deliver in the super-over challenge, New Zealand might look at Lockie Ferguson to play that role. The 31-year-old can clock express speed of over 150 kmph and is known to rattle batter with his pace. The speedster has also been outstanding for the Kiwis taking 32 wickets in 21 games in the shortest format at an impressive economy of 6.84.
