2. James Neesham

The Kiwi allrounder has done extremely well for New Zealand in the last few years but when it comes to the IPL, he has neither got a lot of opportunities nor has he done exceedingly well.

In IPL 2022, Neesham played only two matches and bowled only three overs for Rajasthan Royals. At an economy rate of 9.67, Neesham failed to pick up a single wicket for the runner-ups in the last season. With the bat, he just scored 31 runs at a strike rate of 114.81.

The batting allrounder is a key part of New Zealand’s plan for the T20 World Cup. Even though he had a poor IPL 2022, the team management trusts his skill and hence he will play an important role in Australia.
