Rasikh Salam Dar has been the name that cricket supporters around the world have started to hear a lot. The pacer has been making a lot of noise in the domestic circuit and has been impressing everyone with his skills in the Indian Premier League. He delivered a match-winning performance for the Delhi Capitals as he was able to scalp three wickets in his four overs. 

This was his fourth match for the Delhi Capitals in this edition of the Indian Premier League 2024. He has started to become a mainstay in the line-up and his spells in the middle overs have started to be beneficial for the franchise as well.

During the match against the Gujarat Titans, the pacer was able to dismiss three middle-order batters to give his side the edge in the tie. His spell in the middle overs turned out to be decisive as his side clinched the game by four runs at the Arun Jaitley stadium in New Delhi.

What is Rasikh Salam Dar’s IPL salary?

The cricketer hails from Jammu and Kashmir and this is just his third season in the Indian Premier League. He was first bought by the Mumbai Indians during the 2019 edition of the tournament for a salary of INR 20 lakh. The pacer played a sole game for the franchise that year as he conceded 42 runs from his four overs.

However, after the season, the fast bowler was charged with age fraud by the Board of Control of Cricket in India and was given a ban of two years. After the completion of the ban, the pacer was signed up by the Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 20 lakh. He was able to play two games for the side during the 2022 season but once again it was a wicketless season for him.

The pacer did not play in the tournament last season and went unsold. However, his luck changed as Delhi Capitals bid for him during the auctions in Dubai. The Delhi-based franchise got the pacer for INR 20 Lakh.
