Cricketing trends in Twitter today

Twitter was a bustling place today. The trends on twitter began with the birthday celebrations of Ajit Agarkar who today celebrated his 39th birthday. Born on 4th December 1977 in Mumbai, Agarkar, who had a reputation of being deceptively quick and burst onto the international cricket by becoming the quickest Indian bowler to reach the 50 wickets in ODI cricket. He was one of the many cricketing stalwarts Mumbai cricket has produced for India. He got to the landmark in just 23 games and went on to feature in 191 ODIs finishing with 288 wickets. His Test career could not take off like his ODI career which eventually meant that he could play only 26 Tests in which he finished with 58 wickets. Former teammates Virender Sehwag, Anil Kumble, Irfan Pathan and many other wished him on the occasion. Down under, Australia got off to a winning start at the SCG with a wonderful win over New Zealand. Shane Warne, Damien Martyn and others were seen celebrating the win on twitter. India Women’s team also were victorious in the finals of the Asia Cup against Pakistan and gave another reason for Indian cricket fans to celebrate. Legends like Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Anjum Chopra tweeted congratulating on the victory. Faf du Plessis was enjoying the free time surfing in the sea and shared a beautiful picture from the location. Jonty Rhodes, Saqlain Mushtaq, Damien Martyn today turned experts and spoke on PTV together.
