India came out all guns blazing in the morning session of the 3rd day as a historic win seemed to be rolling out for the visiting team. England were seven down for 87 in the first over after Lunch break. However, 20-year-old Sam Curran scored crucial 63 runs in just 65 balls to help England post 180 in the 2nd innings. In the final session, Indians crumbled with the bat chasing a modest total of 194. The four pacers chipped in with wickets as India were half down for 78 runs before Virat Kohli (43*) and Dinesh Karthik (18*) helped them finish the day on 110/5.
